ANOTHER PLACE, THE LAKE LAUNCHES A NEW COLLABORATION WITH BRITISH LIFESTYLE BRAND JOULES

Another Place, The Lake reveals a new hotel suite exclusively designed by British lifestyle brand Joules – the latest development of the brands’ recent partnership.

The new Joules suite, a first for both brands, gives guests the unique opportunity to experience the outdoors from within. The spacious suite spans over 50 square feet and offers views over Ullswater and the surrounding fells, and beautifully appointed interiors.

Curated by Joules’ art director Hannah Coates, the design is shaped by nature and inspired by the striking landscape of the Lake District. The hotel is set within 18 acres of secluded, unspoilt parkland right on the shores of Ullswater, the second largest lake in England.

The colourful collaboration introduces Joules’ colourful personality through the addition of a sofa and armchair (both available to purchase through DFS), bedding, kitchenware, flasks and a radio. The walls and soft furnishings are finished with a palette of greens, soft grey and striking flashes of mustard yellow, incorporating the bold use of colour that Joules is known and loved for.

Another Place, The Lake is the first hotel from Another Place - a new evolving hotel collection from the team behind Cornwall’s Watergate Bay Hotel.

The team at Watergate Bay Hotel has a long-standing relationship with Joules, which began back in 2009 when Joules supported the now iconic Polo on the Beach event at Watergate Bay. This is the first project with the Another Place team, which will also see Joules provide uniform and unique brand touches throughout the hotel for guests to use, including wellies and dog beds.

Joules has an authentic rural heritage and enjoys a strong connection with the Lakes. Currently, there are four stores in the Lake District – Ambleside, Bowness, Keswick and Kendal and their designers are constantly looking to the area to inspire their hand-drawn prints from the area.

About Another Place, The Lake

Another Place is a new evolving hotel collection from the team behind Watergate Bay Hotel – which is lending the collection its relaxing, active and social ethos. The first in this collection is Another Place, The Lake which opened in August 2017. The hotel is on the shores of Ullswater, surrounded by 18 acres of national parkland. It’s in the heart of the Lakes whilst still only 15 minutes from the M6.

Inside the hotel is Swim Club, home to a 20-metre lake-view swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, cardio room and three treatment rooms. Treatments range from manicures, facials and massages to salt scrubs and the full works.

The hotel has two restaurants both with spectacular views. The Living Space is a large, airy bar leading onto a terrace. Proper coffee and cocktails are served alongside a casual lunch and dinner menu. Rampsbeck Restaurant is open in the morning for breakfast and in the evening for dinner. Its menu is British, focusing on great tasting Cumbrian produce.
